Best Secret Codes for Android Phones

By
 IT Ninja
The main functionality of having secret codes hidden within a mobile device was originally intended for the employees of the respective devices to trouble shoot and perform procedures. Yet now, living in a digital world, everyone has access to this information.
android phones
The most common Android codes that I could find are:

Factory Reset

Open your dialer and type in the following *#*#7780#*#*Another way is to open up settings and click on Restore > Factory Reset.

Reinstall Firmware

You can reinstall your device’s firmware with ease by typing in *2767*3855#. Ultimately, you can also use a third party software on your computer to connect your phone and install new firmware modules.

Enable Testing Services Mode

This is commonly used for testers and android programmers. Activate your Testing Services Mode by typing *#*#*#*#197328640 into your dialer. Once you’ve done this, open the settings page to find the new Testing Menu.

Camera Information

Like most programmers, I often want to see the type of camera on the phone. Type in *#*#34971539#*#*.

Backing up Media Files

Believe it or not, you can create backups of your media files by using the phone’s dialer. Simply type *#*#*273 283 255* 663 282*#*#*.

Google Talk Monitoring Service

“Spy onto them, as they spy onto us” – line from the 90’s movie “Hackers.” Yes, Google is spying on you. So, let’s open up that monitoring service by typing in *#*#8255#*#*. From there you’ll soon find out what data Google really has on you.

Battery Status

While the top-right part of your screen displays the battery status, you can also see more information by typing in *#0228#.

Encryption Information

What type of encryption is your phone carrier using to protect you? You can see the encryption type your phone is using by entering *#32489#.

Data Usage Stats

Everyone who owns a mobile device is often curious as to how much data they really have used. Most times, it seems the phone bill comes in saying you used X amount of data, and you’re sure you didn’t. Put the phone company to the test: simply type in *# 3282 * 727 336*#.

3D Testing

This may not work on all devices, but you can test out your 3D settings by typing in 3845 #*920#This will show you if your devices are capable of rendering 3D modules.

WLAN Testing

You can easily check the status of your Wireless Lan network settings by typing in 526#*#*#*#* or 528#*#*#*#*.

GPS Test

You can perform a full GPS test to see how accurate your GPS settings are. GPS isn’t always 100% dead on target. Just run the test *#*#1575#*#* to see how well your GPS is actually working for you.

Bluetooth Testing

Ever wondered why your Bluetooth settings are dropping connections? Maybe you can’t connect as quickly as you once could? Test out your Bluetooth for potential issues, and to see what type of Bluetooth hardware you’re using. Simply type *#*#232331#*#* into the dialer pad.

Checking FTA SW (Software)

If you wanted to look at your device’s firmware to see the type of software used, type *#*#1111#*#*.

Checking FTA HW (Hardware)

Now that you have your software information, find out what it’s running on. Type in *#*#2222#*#*.

Diagnostics Settings

View the settings configurations of your diagnostic testing by typing in *#9090#.

Facebook Wants Messenger to be Only App You Ever Need

Facebook is getting closer to the reality of making their Messenger app a one-stop-shop for everything and everyone.

Remember when Facebook removed its messaging capabilities from its main application more than three years ago? And then they made us download another application so we could talk to our friends; angering many people, to the point they went on to dropping Facebook.
Eventually, Facebook users forgave the social media giant, bringing Messenger’s ratings to the top in both the App Store and Play Store. The company says that more than a billion people currently use their messaging application, making it an app that reaches more than ten percent of the world’s population.
David Pierce, a senior staff writer at Wired conducted an interview with David Marcus, the Vice President of Facebook’s Messaging Products.
Marcus says many people are using messenger because it is user friendly. Marcus explained that Messenger is now somewhat being used by everyone, and Facebook wants to capitalize on that by incorporating as much as possible into the app, so that people don’t have to go other places looking for things.
F8, which is Facebook’s developer conference, had its Messenger team show off some of the new features of the app, highlighting their aims to change the way how Messenger is used. Soon, it will be a place where everything can be done, not just chatting.  They said that programmers can now develop games in Messenger, and they have bots that will allow you to manage your spending habits, including a bot to help you search new recipes through to your very own personal assistant – something like Apple’s Siri.
The personal assistant that has been labelled as ‘M’ will come in between your chats and help you make on appointment, find a restaurant or find a new business. The Messenger team also came up with a brilliant solution for businesses to create a QR code for their customers, so the customer can simply scan the code and pop up the chat with the business.
The team wants to make Messenger a place where people can easily interact with companies. Marcus also stated that there is a ‘Discover’ section in the Messenger application where people can discover that there is more to that plain old chatting window for businesses. He further explained that Facebook encourages businesses with the official page to respond to messages and interact with people.
Marcus said Facebook understands that it isn’t possible for small businesses to be responsive at times, and thus have created a bot to help. This bot will automatically answer the user for generic questions, such as if a customer messages a nearby pizza place asking if they’re taking orders. If the business is closed, the bot will send an automated message showing operational hours.
While these features might be the ‘woohoo’ factor for some, it’s only a matter of time before you will realize it all comes out once you press the same blue icon on your screen. It is the same space where you call your friends, post your pictures, set events, or simply use it to chat. They’re getting closer to the reality of making this app a one-stop-shop for everything.

Simple Ways to Keep Your Android Phone Secure

Simple Ways to Keep Your Android Phone Secure

Many of us are more worried about security related to our desktops and laptops than our phones. But we should understand that unlike our computers, our smartphones carry personal data such as images, messages, emails and financial details.

Protecting your Android device takes more than a simple slide lock.
Many of us are more worried about security related to our desktops and laptops than our phones. But we should understand that unlike our computers, our smartphones carry personal data such as images, messages, emails and financial details.
In more simplified words, the threats that once were limited to desktops and laptops are now targeting Android phones.
Below are some methods to keep your Android phone safe with their built-in options.
Screen Lock
Every smartphone has this option. It’s one of the easiest ways of setting up a screen lock when it comes to protecting your Android phone. There are many options for setting up a lock screen varying from PIN locks, pattern locks, passwords, and if you have the hardware on your device, facial recognition, fingerprint scanning, iris scanning, and even NFC unlocking.
To set it up, go to Settings, then Security and from there, you will see the options for Lock Screen.
Remote Data Deletion
Many people use third-party software or even antiviruses for this feature, but what they don’t realise is that Android comes with its default set of tools to make the remote data wipe happen. If you drop your phone or leave it in a bar, you can use Android Device Manager to monitor your phone’s location. It allows you to ring the phone, lock it and even wipe its data if you have no option of recovering the phone.
To set it up, go to Settings, hover down to Google, search for Security and then select Android Device Manager. From there select Remotely Locate Device and also toggle Allow Remote Lock and Erase.
Unknown Sources
Most of us who do not want to buy applications from Android’s official Google Play Store tend to go for other options. However, to get pirated options, we have to permit our Android devices to install the content from unknown sources. This not only makes our phone prone to piracy but also malicious applications.
Therefore, if you have this option activated, we recommend toggling it off, making it a habit of switching if off as soon as you are done installing a 3rd party application. To switch off ‘Unknown Source’ go to Settings then to Security and you will find Unknown Sources under Device Administration. Toggle it off.

Built-In Scanning Options
Why go for a third-party application when everything is available to you in the operating system’s security options? The operating system can scan and verify the applications that you installed on your device by linking itself with its security servers back at Google; if it finds something harmful, the device will warn you and delete the malicious application.
To use this awesome feature, hit Settings then go to Google. From there enter Security, then go to Verify Apps, and toggle on both Scan Device for Security Threats and Improve Harmful App Detection.
System Updates
Like any other program, Android too has flaws and vulnerabilities, and cyber criminals are trying to exploit them for malicious purposes.
However, whenever a hacker finds a weakness or whenever a cyber-security expert informs Google about a vulnerability discovered, Google releases an update for its users so that those vulnerabilities can be patched. Keeping this in mind, it is important to always be on a lookout for updates.
Check for them via Settings, then About Phone. From there go to System Updates and hit Check for Update.
App Permissions

One of the benefits of downloading applications from Google Play Store for Android versions before Nougat, is that once you install the software it offers you what the application can and cannot use. For instance, if an application is only there for reading, and it asks permission for activating your microphone and camera, you can deny the software the permissions and delete the app.

Virtual Dj 8.2 Full 2017

Virtual Dj 8.2 Pro Full Free July 2017 Update

Finally Virtual Dj Pro Infinity 8.2 b3523 is here for free. This is an update because the previous version I had provided had some problems as reported in the comment section. This version we are providing is well tested and works 100%. Please take note to follow cracking instructions.
You can change Logo and also content unlimited works fine. Leave a comment if it works, state the problem if it doesn't.

VDJ 8 is a significant milestone in the history of VirtualDJ. Unlike the transition to v7 from v6, or to v6 from v5 etc, where we just added new significant features (like video support, 99 decks, ContentUnlimited, etc), for the v8 transition, we rewrote our software from the ground up. VirtualDJ was first started in 1996, and in the following 15 years, we kept adding more and more features, to keep pushing the limit of how technology can help you mix better. But, 15 years of layers upon layers of new code, can get quite messy, and our development speed was slowing down. That's why we spent the last 3 years to rewriting everything clean and fresh, so that for the next 20 years, new breakthrough features will keep coming at lightning speed, update after update.
But of course, version 8 is not just a clone of version 7 with a fresh engine. It also brings its share of new features and novelty. Here is a quick guide to the main new features, intended for people who are already experienced with version 7:

Features
  • Standard controls (play, pause, stop, cue).
  • Volume control.
  • Pitch control (from -34 to +34%).
  • 3 band equalizers with Kill + gain.
  • One-click beat matching and synchronisation (new FAME algorithm).
  • BeatLock engine: your songs will always stay in time, and you can work your mixes incredibly faster than any other DJ could.
  • Automatic beat-matched crossfading.
  • On-the-fly automatic BPM calculation.
  • Automatic pitch matching.
  • Automatic level matching.
  • Automatic beat matching.
  • Dynamic beat visualizer for easy drag’n’drop beat-matching.
  • Real scratch simulation.
